History:

The 91st ComGuard Division was formed in the early 3000's as part of the secret Comstar armament plan.  It played a crucial part in the battle for Tukayyid, defeating the Ghost Bears.

 

After the Reformation, the 91st was stationed on Dieron in the Draconis Combine. The commander at the time, Rachal Drake, was killed while defending the Jaguar defector Trent, while he was attempting to give the Inner Sphere the location of Huntress.

 

The new commander of the 91st, Joshua Schmitt-McKenna, is the last surviving member of both families outside of the Clans. Under his lead, the 91st participated honorably in the reconquest of the worlds lost to the Smoke Jags in the SLDF assualt of 3060.  They were responsible for the retaking of the planet Edo, site of the infamous Turtle Bay massacre. The 91st also traveled with Prince Victor to the Jag's Homeworld of Huntress for the final showdown between the Clans and the new Star League.

Currently in service with the Star League Defense Forces (SLDF) under Precentor-Martial Victor Ian Steiner-Davion.
